The Destination Development Department is ensuring Berlin’s long-term viability as a tourist destination. It is developing an urban environment that Berliners and visitors alike can use and from which both groups benefit. To this end, it combines digitalisation, innovation, sustainability, urban compatibility and inclusion, and works in collaboration with the twelve boroughs. It drives forward urban development, mobility and urban concepts, and supports the temporary use of vacant spaces.
